Job Description

The Software Engineer II will design, develop and maintain mission-critical software in support of missile defense systems. Develops and maintains complex engineering computer programs, and performs coding, testing, installing, and maintaining of engineering computer programs having features including multiplicity of function, critical constraints, and elaborate input/output.

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience in related field.

Job Description

Overall Assignment Description. Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget. Analyze project status and revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure project requirements are met. Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks. Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation. Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects. Report project outcomes and/or risks to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field and Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management and leading cross-functional teams.
